Doug Storm has always had a passion for music. At the young age of 11, he began operating a sound board for his church where his interest for audio engineering grew immensely. Since then, Doug has become a successful audio engineer, Pro Tools editor and accomplished sound designer. In 2004, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Arts with a minor in Mass Media from Missouri State University.

After three years of owning and operating a home studio, Doug gained employment with CP Media Studios, where he was Chief Audio Engineer, Sound Designer and Studio Manager in addition to working as a free-lance engineer for Bridge Studio. Currently, he is working as a free-lance audio engineer and sound designer in mid-Missouri, but enjoys collaborating on projects all over the country.

Over the course of his career, Doug has recorded and mixed a wide variety of musical genres including everything from country to hip-hop to jazz. He has worked on numerous large scale music productions including a Bob Dylan 2 CD tribute album entitled, “Missouri Salutes Bob Dylan.” Doug also had the unique opportunity to record and mix an album for Christina Sonnemann, a world-renowned concert harpist from Tasmania.

Doug has worked on several notable video productions as a sound designer and Foley artist including the award winning and nationally acclaimed animation piece, “Overcome”. Doug’s creativity was instrumental in the production of television commercials, a movie trailer for the re-released film, “The Pistol”, and for the children’s series, “The Wacky Adventures of Sticky Gumm” in which he also recorded and mixed the score.

Doug has worked with gold and platinum-selling songwriters, producers and engineers, includingRick Jarrard, Jeff Silvey, Pat McManus, Paul Andris, Sam Plattand film producer Rodney Stone. All of these experiences have greatly developed Doug’s superior skills as he continues to further his career as a reputable audio engineer and sound designer.

He enjoys playing trumpet and guitar, cruising on his motorcycle, enjoying the great outdoors, listening to music and watching movies with his lovely wife, Rachel.
